During a week when public support for same-sex marriage grew exponentially as the Supreme Court heard a relevant case, Willie Nelson hopped on the bandwagon. "I never thought of marriage as something only for men and women. But I'd never marry a guy I didn't like," he joked, then added seriously, "It's about human rights."

Nelson held up several red signs created by Austin's Helms Workshop design firm - one with two braided joints - to show his solidarity with the LGBT community. He wrote the song "Crazy," which was popularized by Patsy Cline.
