Rapper GloRilla (nee Gloria Woods) was arrested for marijuana possession after a home invasion in Atlanta on July 19.

Gunshots fired at the thieves scared them away. When Forsyth County Drug Task Force officers arrived, they searched the house and found "a signnificant amount of marijiuana in plain view inside the master bedroom closet" and charged the performer, who was not home during the break-in, with felony possession of marijuana and possesson of a Schedule I controlled substance.

Glorilla ripped the Sheriff's department for turning the potential celebrity rip-off into a drug bust. She posted at X:

While I was in Indianapolis performing for the WNBA all star game & instead of Focusing on finding the Suspects, they focus on some cannabis

1. So no I wasn’t busted

2. My house got robbed

3. I wasn’t home Long story short my house gets home invaded and I'm the only one that gets arrested.

In Georgia, possession of more than one ounce is a felony punishable by a mandatory one-to-10 year sentece and $5,000 fine if found guilty.

"This is our tax dollars at work," said her attorney Drew Findling. "Absolutely unbelievable."

GloRilla was released from the Forsyth County Jail after posting a $22,260 bond on July 22.

With just one album released, the 25-year-old Memphis native already has two Grammy nominations for "F.N.F, (Let's Go)" and "Yeah Glo!"
