'The Studio' Racks Up 23 Emmy Noms for Seth Rogen, Bryan Cranston, Zoë Kravitz, Dave Franco and More

Season 1's mushroom-fueled double episode finale ("CinemaCon") put Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's Apple TV+ comedy series The Studio over the top. The rookie program received 23 Emmy Awards nominations, announced July 15. The Emmy will be presented on Sept. 14.

Rogen leads a strong cast as Matt Remick, the new head of th fictional Continental Studios. He's joined by Bryan Cranston (Griffin Mill), Ike Barinholtz (Sal Saperstein), Kathryn Hahn (Maya Mason), Catherine O'Hara (Patty Leigh) – all nominated – and Chase Sui Wonders (Quinn Hackett). Numerous guests play themselves, including Martin Scorsese, Ron Howard and Anthony Mackie, again all nominated.
